Algae growing in rainwater that has ponded on plastic seats at Santa Barbara City College's La Playa Stadium. This is my 300th photoblog post! It is also one of the first images I have made using the incredible AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED lens. I have not done a lot of previous work using ultra-wide lenses, and I am excited about the creative possibilities that this superb piece of glass allows for. Also, this past week, I signed on for professional representation by pieces fine art, a Los Angeles area art dealer. I am excited about the possibilities that could result from greater exposure in the Los Angeles market. It does not seem like that long ago when I started up this photoblog and began to publish my work online. But it has been nearly 2.5 years.
